The Basic FreezeAlarm provides the most cost effective method of protecting your home or property from damaging frozen pipes. This model calls out to one telephone number of your choice when the temperature drops below 45°F (7°C). Those answering the call will hear an alarm tone. It will continue to call until you call back to the unit and discontinue the call-out feature. Unit resets when temperature rises above 45° again. Unit operates on a 9 volt alkaline battery (not included) and can utilize an existing standard, single telephone line.

 This popular model calls up to three phone numbers and alerts you to one of three emergencies at a monitored home, cabin, cottage, business or even a refrigerator or freezer in a restaurant. This model will call you if the temperature gets too low (or too high as well), it will call if the power has been out for 1 hour or more, and it will call you if the back-up, 9 volt battery needs replacing. You gain extra peace of mind with this model because you can call up anytime, from any phone in the world and hear what the current temperature is, find out if the power is on or off in your home or cabin, and even check the voltage of the back-up battery. You can also change any of the settings and phone numbers remotely. Clear, digitized voice messages tell you exactly what is happening at the monitored location. Plus, you can even create your own custom greeting message that is played when the unit calls you or when you call into your FreezeAlarm.

The Deluxe Model offers all the features of the Intermediate (FA-I) model, plus an additional feature. A
unique feature of the FA-D is an auxiliary alarm
input for monitoring a dry contact device such
as a water alarm. If water is sensed across
the water sensor, the FA-D has the ability of
call out to three phone numbers and warn you
of water problems. Also available is a
switched output that can remotely switch two
thermostats, one set to a higher temperature
and one set for a lower temperature. Switching
them by telephone allows you to heat up or cool
down your home or vacation property before you
arrive. |
